Comments
Comments: It was a busy weekend for ATVs up North (as I should have expected). I changed my plan of driving the road to Dixville peak, it looked rough and rocky anyway, not fun in my daily-driver. I had to walk on it for the last half mile or so after the Cohos trail crosses it. The unnamed trail marked on Gaia didn’t seem to be a hiking trail and was all grown in. The views and the windmills were impressive, my first visit to one up close. I took the gated Dixville peak trail back down instead of the Cohos to Gloriette, it was loose rock with some grass but at least not muddy, I preferred it to the way I came up. The old ski area was interesting, and I found lots of ripe wild strawberries.
