Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Original lot will accommodate a few vehicles parked side by side. Treat it like the driveway and you'll only get a couple. Fortunately, there is a dirt lot down the street with plenty of space. If you use the gravel lot down by the river, you may end up spinning your wheels on the way out. Don't ask how I know. Use the dirt lot.

Comments
Comments: Original plan was to cover the area on the Mt. Stanton Trail that we had not yet done. But for some reason I was extremely exhausted and lost a lot of time ascending Oak Hill. Went as far as the trail junction and made an amazing discovery. Mixed some electrolytes into my water since I had been sweating on the way up. It was like those old Popeye cartoons where he eats the spinach and his life is transformed. More energy, no exhaustion. Got back to the car a lot quicker.

One unpleasant discovery - ORIENTIL BITTERSWEET!!!! Someone else's trail report mentioned it the other day. It's all over the Merrimac Valley, hadn't seen it in the Whites yet. Please, God, NO!!!!!

Beautiful area, hope to come back and see the rest soon.
