Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 1st water crossing is a fairly low and the 2nd over Dry Brook is a wooden bridge. The flow is getting low but nice to refill my water bottle and cool off on a hot day.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail is in good condition
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There were a couple of pups on trail and other than dealing with the heat they were doing well.
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies and mosquitoes were active especially early morning. Bug dope and or head net advisable.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost or found.

Comments
Comments: with the winter blowdowns all removed, water bars in good shape. It could use some better blazing through the rocky switchbacks as there are multiple iterations causing erosion from herd paths and shortcuts.

Overall trail is in good condition with no blowdowns on trail, dry rocks and ledges and blueberries ripening. Bring plenty of water or fill up at the Dry Brook bridge as that's the last sure water especially in this summer heat.
