 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The pull-off is easy to get in and out of. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The Ellis River crossing was knee deep at the deepest spot, and running gently. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
If I didn’t already know where this trail went I would have had trouble finding it, as it is significantly overgrown. The overgrowth includes pricker bushes and the whole mess is housing a bazillion ticks. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
My dog did great on this easy route. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Yep. Except at the Ellis River crossing. But otherwise they are swarmy and consistent. |

 | Comments: |
The trail matches exactly the description in the 31st edition WMG as there are the overgrown spots, the muddy spots, and the steep downhill to the falls. Despite the bugs and the pricker bushes I really like this hike because it has fabulous water-splashing at both the beginning (the Ellis River crossing) and the end (the falls). |
