 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Couple small streams on Imp above the ledges were all easy. Coming down Carter Dome Trail, the first one was very simple, while the second (about 1.4 miles from Zeta Pass, 0.5 miles from 19 Mile Brook Trail jct.) was a rockhop that required a bit of pause before proceeding. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Nothing crazy. Someone had clearly been on North Carter Trail recently and cleared the way. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Only saw a couple toward the end on 19 Mile Brook |
|
 | Bugs: |
Not too bad, had a couple repellent stickers and they did the trick |

 | Comments: |
Still humid but clouds lifted over the course of the day. Imp Face views were good. While the North/Middle/South Carter summits might all be wooded, there are plenty of spots that give good views during the ridge walk (which I found to be slower than expected with PUDs and mud). Lower half of Carter Dome Trail was pretty wet. 19 Mile Brook was a nice walk out before about 1.5 miles of road walking back to the car. |
