For thr third year in a row an unauthorized person has been out on this trail with blazing paint. The person’s plan this year was to blaze both sides of countless trees, and put a lot of blazes on rocks and slabs. The worst of the damage is between the trailhead and the summit via the west side of the loop. In many spots you can see 3-4 blazes at the same time, and in one spot you can see a record 6 blazes. Seriously people knock it off with this, please and thank you. I am the trail adopter; I took care of a large birch that came down a few weeks ago. Everything else is good to go. |
