Comments
Comments: I didn't realize Sawyer River Rd was closed (I guess I've been gone too long...) so my 10 mile hike turned into 14 before I had even gotten out of the car.
Trail was in great shape, some minor mud early on but it was easy to navigate. Nothing super steep about this one, there's just a lot of steady uphill once you get going.

Temps were cool, and a slight breeze at times. No issues with bugs (I got eaten alive last weekend doing Cabot...)
The views were phenomenal... the cool temps made for a lot less haze than we've had lately. it's not often that we get a day like this in July.
Met several friendly hikers, one 48 finisher on the tower when I got there, and another on the ascent who was about to finish. Also met 2 solo hikers who were in the 9-10/48 range, definitely had been bitten by the bug
