Comments
Comments: Road walk Hurricane mtn rd & Mt Surprise rd to the end. There is a gate across the beginning of the trail but there is a trail that goes around the gate with a sign with an arrow on it. Used Gaia to help with a few turns here and there but trail is relatively easy to follow. Nice view spot on the way up…. Bartlett Mountain has a summit sign and the ledges after the summit have panoramic views. I was the only 1 there. Spent 45 minutes alone. In fact I didn’t see anyone until I got on the Kearsarge north trail. Went to summit where it wasn’t crowded at all and enjoyed the tower to myself for 25 minutes. Then headed down to trailhead. From my car to Bartlett Mountain was 2000 ft ascent so don’t let that small mountain fool you. Great day.
