Comments
Comments: Perfect weather for this hike, cool start with no bugs. Really fast to crossing, no issues. Trail was damp early, slippery rocks. Water was running across trail in the 2 usual spots, very low. Beautiful hazy views at both view spots. Wet & muddy between the peaks, especially in the scrubs before South. Only a few here, sunny lite winds. Climb down to the hut steep! Dropped pack out & back to Galehead, pretty straight forward. Delicious cake at the hut to fuel up for the climb back to South. Slow & steady pace, made it up in 40 minutes panting & pouring sweat. Very crowded but found a quieter spot to rest & dry. 360 Views just amazing. Lots of people out today. Really fast down with no issues, beautiful day, hot at hut & the summits.
