Hornet's Nest - there is a small (grapefruit-sized) hornet's nest on a thin branch of a sapling located on the ascent on the left side of the trail, you go through the break in the stone wall and then cross a little drainage and it's just past. Easier to see on the way up. It's about 6 feet high but assume it will get bigger and as it does the branch will be lower. Nothing bothered us as we passed by. |
