Pretty & cushy down low once leaving the road before stiffening with the footing significantly degrading after the stream crossing. I lost the trail by overshooting the turn at the spring near the top on the way up, but I had a really cool moment in the forest and got to do a little exploration. Lotta mossy, wet slimy slab rocks in the top eroded mile up to the cabin. Tower is open and rather windy in the top, 360* views were peaked. Day objectives achieved, yay!! |
