Comments
Comments: minimal bugs, which was a blessing as there was no wind first thing this morning. Also, I was expecting to pull a bunch of ticks off me but there weren't any - YIPPEEEEE

SO glad there is now a classic trail sign in the same style as the other signs near Mt Cardigan - the classic dark brown, with arrow pointing to Plymouth Mountain - at the critical first turn off the class 6 road above the end of Pike Hill Rd. Also, all the blowdowns have been cut out - this is so excellent!!!! Thank you so much person who looks out after all of this stuff and who dedicates their life to making sure this sort of stuff gets done and the rest of us benefit from it we love you!!! I almost think that after all these years of enjoying these trails maybe I should consider doing trail work!!!!

Terrific early am hike today. Absolutely gorgeous woods. Trail so much more hospitable with the deadfall and blowdowns cut out. Super pretty. Decent views from top outlooks - I usually just go over the top to the first one that looks north.
