Appalachia overflowing (just slightly) onto Route upon arrival at 8. No issue spotting a car at Caps Ridge. |

The part of The Link from the junction of Lowe's Path to the junction of Cliffway, in particular, is in some serious need of brushing. The trail is almost completely grown in in some spots. What's odd is that I did notice some fresh work on blowdown clearance on this trail, but it doesn't look like much regular maintenance has been done. It's a little better after Cliffway, but still could use some work on that section as well.
There is active logging going on just off to the side after the syrup operation section, so be wary of that.
Additionally, passed 3 separate RMC crews doing work on Lowe's Path. Looks like some new stone steps are being placed in highly eroded areas. |
