Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues, not many stepovers.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: On Unknown Pond Trail, a small tree came down a short distance from the trailhead. On Kilkenny Ridge Trail, a large tree came down at a turn in the trail (there was a small passage cut through it). A lot of blowdowns have been cleared on KRT. Both trails were easy to follow with good footing. The 4.5 miles on Mill Brook Rd. (gravel) was pretty smooth.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw two, both listened to their owners. One definitely wasn't a fan of me though.
Bugs
Bugs: Not too bad.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Great day to be out and the trails were in good shape. Unknown Pond was a nice place to take a break. And the Horn offers nearly 360-degree views from the top. Other than that, it's one step at a time. Never overly steep with mostly good footing. Went over as far as the Cabot Cabin before turning around.
