about a dozen cars when I arrived at 6:30AM with lots of available spots and about double when I returned at noon with some overflow into the road. |

trails in great shape. Wet from rain the previous day, but no major mud -- except some mud bogs on Frost trail which are probably persistent. |

beautiful day to be in the mountains today except for the smoke from the Canada wildfires (which seemed to get worse as the day went on).
Follow the link to one photo that I took from the hut -- despite the haze, it turned out decent to show the distant summits -- LOL!
Otherwise, I would note that water in gale river is as clear as any I've seen. It's a thing of beauty. |
