 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Spotted one car at Diana's Baths lot at 9:30am, a few spots still left. Spotted another car at Passaconaway Rd for South Moat trailhead, a couple spots there too. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Rock hops, low water or dry stream bed, above Diana's Bathslot looked pretty dry in streams, but still water going through. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in good shape, some erosion coming down North Moat. Trail marking (cairns) across Middle Moat much better than I remember from last time I trecked across the ridge (at least a decade ago, when navigation was harder). |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one early, a handsome GSD, but looks like most people left their dogs home on this hot day. Bring water if you bring your pup, not much to be had a long the way, if any. |
|
 | Bugs: |
A few mosquitos here and there. Some flies on the summits. Some bees here and there. |

 | Lost and Found: |

 | Comments: |
Lots of people out enjoying these peaks, some doing single peaks, some out and back across the ridge, some doing the traverse like us.
Obvious forest fire smoke, causing haze all day, with smell of woodsmoke in the air. |
