Would be good for the pooch but you would need to bring water for after leaving Dane Brook. The upper streams were all but dry today. |

I've been wanting to get over to these trails for a long time. I was rewarded with great footing and fairly easy going. The section of the Oregon Mountain Trail going to Mowglis had some great smelling cedars and a wide open pine forest for much of the way. A great day for this hike, saw not a soul the entire way. |
