Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at Willey House and was one of only two cars there at 7:30am on a sunny Saturday. Plenty of space. There's a fairly large lot to the left of the houses / shops there specifically for overnight hiker parking.

Bugs
Bugs: Mosquitos were out for blood in the first mile or so, but bug spray did help. After that, no issues.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A blue shirt was hanging on some trees in between Pierce and Eisenhower. Was it a signal?

Comments
Comments: Absolutely stunning day for the ridge — light wind, blue skies, mid-50s. Couldn't ask for better weather, and everyone knew it — 99% of folks I passed were all smiles, which is always great to see. Went up the Webster Cliffs for the first time, which was a great trail — pretty steady climbing for the first couple miles, then a series of fun scrambles with cliffs and views of Tom, Field, and Willey and beyond in between. Great hiking and a few "is this really the trail?" scrambles, which I enjoy. No massive exposure and trail was in great shape.

Plenty of folks out on Webster and Jackson, trails in between were in great shape, although a bit muddy / wet. Most of the mud is avoidable / rock-hoppable / has bog bridges. As always, plenty of mud between Jackson and Pierce, but bog bridges were in good shape. Watch your step though and stay on the path, the mud is ready to eat your shoes should you give it the opportunity (I easily stuck my trekking pole down into wet mud about 1.5 feet deep). Stopped in at Mitzpah Hut (I stayed at the tentsite) and crossed over to Eisenhower. Ridge was crowded by that point (~3pm) with AT thru hikers, trail runners, backpackers, weekenders, a guy in slip-on sandals, dogs, all kinds of folks but everyone seemed to be enjoying the day. Eisenhower was windy as always and the giant summit cairn has been dismantled. Still, beautiful sunset views and a great day on the trails.
