The first section of the western portion of this trail is very grown over with a variety of bushes including blackberry with lots of thorns. A little higher up there are a couple of blow-downs. |

This trail is covered over with blackberry and other bushes in the lower portion which means lots of scrapes on arms and legs. If you do it now, pants and long sleeves would be helpful for this section or wait until fall when bushes have died. Other than that, smooth sailing to the summit with a couple tippie toe views from the old fire tower base. A hawk and a boreal chickadee stopped by to say hello. |
