Comments
Comments: lucky enough to get the Percy Peaks tour today from none other than Adam Hoyt, the hiking influencer. If you have spent any time looking at his instagram these are some of his favorite mountains so this hike was extra special. Trail is mostly dry- tiny bit of mud near the trailhead but otherwise dry. Solid climb to the saddle but the trail is in good shape. We want off to south first- like I mentioned above that trail gets a bit narrow but not too bad. Then we went to north- really nice up there, with the blueberry bushes starting to show some good leaf color. The blueberries are definitely past peak in terms of fruit- we found a bunch of berries but I can't imagine anything good will be around for much longer. Excellent views from both peaks. Slabs on north really were not too bad but perhaps that's a matter of opinion. Another nice 52WAV off the list.
