 | Comments: |
The main trails up to North, Middle and South were fine. There is however quite a bit of erosion in areas. You will encounter sections of gravel and rocks on sections of both North and South. Recommend you travel clockwise. The BW to NW was very challenging. You will want to take a left soon after the North summit. There's a small herd path you can take. We used a compass reading and GPS to pinpoint the Summit and headed straight for it. The best route is on the ridge. At times you can see a faint herd path but mostly you need to follow your GPS/compass. This BW could be very anxiety provoking when/if you hit some of the dense forest. Time to summit was 1:35, time out was 2:00. Go figure. It's about 3 miles round trip.
