Comments
Comments: I headed up through a logged area in thick weeds, slash and raspberry on moose paths . Once I hit the woods the going was good, some hobblebush here and there but not too bad. I went west until gaining the ridge, then followed it north to the easy to find summit. Continuing north to the next peak was a miserable sea of hobblebush on the descent to the col, then lots of step-over blowdowns all the way up North peak. Woods are open though, and spotting the canister on the broad flat summit wasn’t hard thankfully. The descent due east was no better. Blowdowns and then hobblebush down low. But, I had a nice moose encounter in a muddy area. I heard a few ATVs pass by as I got close to the road, then it was a quick jog back to complete the loop.
