Trails
Trails: Unknown trail, bushwhack
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Sunday, August 17, 2025
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: As others reported, I drove very close to the summit of this peak. It’s a steep and rocky road, 4wd recommended but clearance isn’t really an issue, except for a few culverts possibly along the way. I had no trouble in my truck, just went very slow.

Comments
Comments: A very thick bushwhack to the summit jar, with a few bumps to check. Thankfully it’s a short whack back to the trail. The trail seems to continue east, I tried following it, a narrow moose path really, until I came to a north-south road through a clear cut which was full of blackberry thorns and I decided to turn around rather than attempt Chase and Loomis from this way, since I read there are other ways to get those peaks and it was about to rain. This was an easy peak after West Tucker and the Crystals but a long drive to get to.
