Comments
Comments: I headed up a skid path/ moose path/ logging cuts Southwest, then turned southeast on the ridge and it got thicker, but then more open at the very top. Found the jar easily. I then followed the ridge to the east peak. It was interesting passing through different stages of regrowth. Lots of birds were singing. For the most part it was mature enough (maybe 20 years old) that it was actually pleasant walking, though somewhat tight. Other parts were logged in the last 5 years and were thick but didn’t last too long on the ridge. The descent from East peak was all in mature woods, along the edge of a clear cut with a good view. I jogged the road back. This loop was 4.3 miles and amazingly only took me 2 hours, way less than I expected.
