Comments
Comments: No killer pemi bears today just killer pemi views and weather! Although we did hear that another hiker had his pack stolen by a bear on Shoal Pond Trail yesterday:( Woke up to a stellar sunrise from Guyot platform #8- it was in the upper 30’s before the sun popped up and rapidly warmed. We saw a crazy crow aerial dogfight off Bond followed by a fighter jet simulated dog fight on way to Bondcliff. We agreed the crow fight was more entertaining! Only saw a few folks on upper Bondcliff section-of course five of them were present when James ate sh*t on the steep rock steps around 3000’ and scraped his leg to bits. Margaret and I named him Swifty (Richard Scarry reference) today because he is reckless and always crashing into stuff! Fantastic foot dip in the river by the parking lot to cap off a memorable trip. 36/48 for the little guy.
