Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Aside from crossing the Saco on the bridge, there is no water. Saco pretty low, too.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of blowdowns, flush to the trail. Easily stepped over. Trail isn't marked at all in the forested part, and once on the ledge there are some old paint blazes and a cairn here and there. Could use some attention, but it wasn't hard finding anf staying on course.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None today
Bugs
Bugs: Only around the Saco, and then not bad. Nothing in the woods ot up top.

Comments
Comments: Pretty steep course, and fairly relentless. Once the ascent begins, it does not stop until you reach topside. Rugged, but a good workout. And the views are an appropriate payoff for the effort!
