Comments
Comments: It rained ever-so-lightly today. I basically followed Liam’s advice, going closer to the edge of the pond when I ran into the blowdowns at the other end, then following the inlet stream until the old AT appeared and took that up to the col. The rest of the bushwhack was in tighter woods than I was expecting, but at least there weren’t dead needles raining down, and zero hobblebush or undergrowth. In fact, even with the light rain I didn’t get damp until I walked through some tall grass by the pond, which was brief. The ups and downs on the KRT however seemed never-ending, but it’s a good workout I guess. I’m sure glad to have this one checked off the list, as I get closer to 200.
