Trails were mostly dry today, but not quite as dry as last weekend, thanks to a few minor precip events in recent days.
Ski slope mowing continues, but it does not reach the hiking trail side, nor is it continuous up the middle (top and bottom are mowed). In addition, there is major construction underway on the main liftline (T-Bar installation). Gravel access road is still the way to go if using the slopes. Saw a bear, deer, and turkey today.
Beautiful September-like day with crisp views. A few trees and saplings starting to turn. |
