Plenty of parking on this nice Tuesday at Ferncroft Parking Lot. Lot was less than half full at arrival in the morning time. |

Bridge at start of hike then all subsequent crossings non-issue, given the very dry conditions. But there is still some flowing water on Kelley Brook. |

Fun hike doing a loop route up Kelley Trail and down the gentle Old Mast Rd trail. The leaves are gathering up on long sections of trail, making footing a little more slippery than dry summertime conditions. Lots of cobwebs to the face on the way up, which relates to the fact that I only saw one other hiker on this route. Summitsmarts.com helped with the hike planning. |
