Comments
Comments: 32 @ the start. 1st time on Howker Ridge, beautiful trail lots of climbing but many level spots to catch your breath. Some great views just before breaking tree line. Slow climb to Osgood, minimal winds. Not too many on top or at the hut. Star Lake is my favorite way to Adam’s, not too bad until near the top. Star Lake is completely dry! Hardly any wind or people on both peaks, warm sun. Many different trails on the way out, saw only 1 once on Upper Bruin. 1st time on Kelton, really nice but lots of pine needles on the steep areas made for slippery going. Great hike on some lesser traveled trails, lots of solitude for the last day of summer!
