Comments
Comments: I was feeling lazy about route planning and just went straight at the peaks. Parking directly to Perry Ponds. Perry Ponds straight to Prospect Hill west, followed the border swath back a bit and then straight to my car. In general it worked quite well and the woods were quite open the whole way. There was a lot of hobble bush, but it was short and losing its leaves, so wasn't very hobble-y. On the way back I went through the Perry Stream swamp which was wet and muddy but ok with the drought. I wouldn't advise that route in a normal year.

At Prospect Hill West, I removed the canister from the blowdown and rehung it. It's about 25 yards south of the original location. I walked back and forth about 20 times trying to decide whether the north or south bump was higher. After discussing it with the squirrel that was chattering at me, we both decided the south bump was ever so slightly higher.
