Comments
Comments: Someday I’m doing the Tom Wiggin Trail was today, & oh boy this was a beast! Pretty straightforward until the water crossing which isn’t blazed that I saw. Then the climbing starts, easy at 1st then oh boy, does it get steep! Lots of leaves down on the steeps making it very slippery. Every time I thought I was almost there, nope. 50 minutes to go 1.1 miles, never so happy to hear voices coming from Blueberry Ledge Trail. Ledges for the most part were dry, as was the hike over to The Dicey junction. Opted to go to the right instead of straight up, much more gentle IMO. 1st time down to the outlook, stunning views today. Lots of red colors in the trees on this side. Coming down was told of a moose on the trail, but it had moved on. Looks like I passed the stormy weather crew heading up…..good luck on #’s 47 & 48 James…..amazing! Really fast coming down. Outstanding weather today!

Would definitely not recommend coming down Tom Wiggin, way too slippery & steep!
