|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
More visible water in the streams, due to last Thursday's rain, but levels still quite low. First crossing on 19MB has that nice photo-op bridge, others further still super easy. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in good shape, overall. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
None today, although the route can be handled readily by a good trail-experienced canine. Above the stream crossings low on 19MB & Carter Dome trails, the route is dry. |

 | Bugs: |
End of September - they're hard to find, and we didn't. |

 | Comments: |
Very nice cool fall day, with only a couple of small floating clouds over by Washington and the presidentials, just adding to the photo quality. Light breeze up top, easily handled by a wind shell. Five of us OTHH there on Middle Carter as Jane finished her first round of the 48 (only round, she says - we'll see about that)! At the end of ten hours over 13 tough miles and elevation gain well over 4000 ft, it was well-earned celebration bubbly. |
