Trails are in good shape. Leaves are coming down fast, so the foot paths are obscured making for slower going. Tough to find the trails in places (Cook Path especially). |

 | Comments: |
Started up the Ice Gulch trail and did the Peboamauk Loop before continuing into the gulch. Pebmoamauk Falls was nice even though there wasn’t much water. Ice Gulch was fun, but very slow. Scrambling over and around boulders meant careful foot placement and good balance. Slippery in places. Pretty area too if you stop to look around. Cook Path was an easy descent. The lower end of this trail and Boothman Springs is closed. Went up the right side of Mt Crescent, which felt easier than the left side (last year). Beautiful weather and a good day in the woods. |
