Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at the bridge to Bob's Way at the top of Terrill pond, but having walked Bob's way, there was no evidence of the divot Twinkle Toes mentioned. Road could certainly have been driven with mid-clearance, but by the time we figured this out, it didn't make sense to backtrack to the car.

Comments
Comments: We walked Bob's way to the western bump on a curve as the road heads south, to the east of the peak. We followed a short logging road to a landing, then ducked into the woods, hooking up with some passable but high grass skidder roads that we were able to follow just south of west until they petered out as the grade got steeper. This route was fine, but it popped us out too far south on the ridge, and the high point is very far north on the flat summit, so it took some exploring and traversing of the flat summit to find the jar. Not wanting to backtrack, we tried to descend off the ridge to the NE, which after some initial ugly/dense stuff and a nasty logging road, turned into lovely open woods. We followed these open woods until we found the drainage that passes just to the NW of the curve in Bob's way around 1750ft. We had to climb out of the drainage then down a steep but short section to reconnect with Bob's way. I think I would take the drainage route both directions if I were doing this again, despite how uninviting the initial ascent looks from the road.

A little under 2 hrs car to car, with an hour of that being the needless roadwalk.
