Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only crossing is of the stream feeding Dream Lake across the Peabody Brook Tr. Very low, easy rock hop.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One chest high blow down on Peabody Brook Tr, above the Bald Cap Peak Ledge Spur. A couple crawl unders on Mahoosuc, between Cascade Mt, and Mt. Hayes. Two spots were difficult to navigate on Mahoosuc Tr - open deciduous forest, leaves covering the treadway and no blazes visible. One was just north of Trident Col Tentsite, and the other was between Mt. Hayes and Cascade Mt. Don't plan on hiking these areas by headlamp.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Some ledgy trail sections, particularly on the south slope of Cascade Mt. Very dry loop, bring water.
Bugs
Bugs: Nope

Comments
Comments: Fun quick overnight to trace a few miles. Was able to hear an apparent rock concert at dusk at Trident Col Tentsite. Leaves are past peak.
