Quick hike to Garnet Hill. There is a beautiful viewpoint .7 miles up at the intersection of GHT and Bearclaw Trail. Followed BCT for .3 then easy bushwhack along a spine to the summit marked with a cairn. Could use a canister and register if someone's heading up. Packed out a couple of beer bottles one was broken managed to avoid bloodshed. Saw sign of a well fed bear on the way up.
