A few minor crossings. |

There's a 8" diameter tree down across Cotton Mountain Trail near the top. It looks like a recent blowdown. It's easy to step over it for now. |

 | Lost and Found: |
Someone left a fleece jacket draped over the trail sign at the junction of Old Mountain Rd and Crawford-Ridgepole. It is multi-colored. I think the lower half is blue (???). |

 | Comments: |
This is a pleasant loop with a few good views of the Squam Lakes region. The summit of Mt. Livermore has a great view of Red Hill and the Ossipee Range. Old Mountain Rd and Old Highway are interesting old roads (now trails) -- very eroded in places, but easy walking overall. The foliage is certainly past peak, but the Lakes Region is still surprisingly vibrant. |
