Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Happy to report we finished brushing Chemin Des Dames! We removed a couple trees that had toppled across lower Airline and tossed sticks off the trail all the way to King Ravine. Surprised trails were mostly dry and Mossy Fall's cascades were finally crashing loudly thanks to the recent rain.
Dog-Related Notes

Comments
Comments: This was Danielle and my third RMC work trip to Chemin Des Dame. The trail rises from the floor of King Ravine to the Airline Trail meeting just above tree line, climbing 800 vf in just 4/10ths of a mile. Our first trip was two years ago, the second Oct 9th and we finished today! We often felt like we were building a trail not just brushing it! Not counting our hike in & out, we each have more than 12 hours of lopping. Yesterday's effort took us 15 minutes past our turn around time but we had to finish. We passed by one fellow on his way to do Subway and Great Gully. Occasionally it was windy and we experienced a few brief snow showers. We stayed warm and dry. We descended via Airline all the way back to our car. Good fun. Please volunteer to do trail work! It's satisfying fun.
