One big crossing on Dicey's Mill is easily crossed on the large tree going across it. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
In great shape as always. Kicked off small twigs and branches from the recent wind as we hike along. Nothing obvious needed.
Yet again, a huge thank you to Wonalancet Out Door Club for making Dicey's Mill one of the most pleasant hiking trails in NH! |

Three season conditions - Leaves on mostly dry trails until ~3000 feet. From there it was spots of snow that were easy to get around until 3500 feet or so. Above 3500 going up to both Passaconaway and Whiteface were a combo of ice and snow.
Barebooted the entire way and debated spikes a few times. Definitely have them in your bag at this point.
We received mixed reviews about Blueberry Ledge and Tom Wiggin, so decided to make it an out and back. Everyone we encountered seemed to think coming up both was doable, but going down was questionable. Overall a great day. Good time to grab these for November. |
