Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: For the final stream crossing (near intersection of S slide trail with Livermore trail) we walked across the two logs that are positioned for that purpose. Perhaps there is an easier crossing upstream but we did not explore. Other crossings were straighforward.

Comments
Comments: North Slide was difficult - even small patches of damp rock or snow/ice reduce traction on the steep slabs, and there are several sections where hand-holds are sparse. (I did it once before in dry weather with no issues, and gave up once because the rock was too wet. This time was a bit iffy but we made it.) Spikes probably not helpful on the slide in current conditions, but we put them on at the summit where the snow was thicker.
