Tree down across trail about 2/3 way up trail. Easy to route around. |

Late fall at the base, winter up top. Light dusting of snow around 2,000ft. Put microspikes on around 3,000ft. North and South Kinsman were in the clouds so no views unfortunately. Wind was quite moderate. Slower than usual descent with ice, slippery rocks, roots, and leaves. |
