Comments
Comments: Perfect conditions today! PBB has lots of leaves down which were wetter in the afternoon. Mud/standing water in the usual spots. Lots of wet slippery rocks the higher we went. Minor ice encountered, we carried spikes but never needed them. Little dusting of snow above 3000 feet, no real depth. No wind on any summit, we had the warm sun on us on Middle. Herd path to Scaur was fairly easy to follow, we were the 1st here after the snow. Some blowdowns, 1 really big one but overall jar was easy to find. Oldest date I saw was from 2020. Careful down on the steep areas, seemed more slippery than the morning. Many came up the North Slide with different reports, we kinda wished we had gone this way as planned but happy to get Scaur for the 1st time.
