Comments
Comments: Winter like conditions at approx. 3800, we put spikes on just before reaching the Shinning Rock spur on Falling Waters. Areas of the trail are frozen water. Ridge was mix of ice and rock and descent down Lafayette had similar areas of frozen water covering the rocks. We removed our spikes about 1/3 to 1/2 way down Old Bridle Path. Snow depth on trail is one inch or less, windblown, but that will likely change with weather forecasted for this week.
