Comments
Comments: Edge season hiking at its best. Barebooted the whole way, but saw a few folks with spikes on as well. A toss up right now.
Bike path - Great condition
Liberty Springs - Mud and leaves until about 2300 feet, light snow and minimal ice from 2300 - 3200 feet, 2-3 inches of powder above 3200 feet
Franconia Ridge Trail - 2-3 inches of powder most of the way with drifts between the two peaks

Given the season, the trail is in really good condition. The mud, leaves and light snow up to 3200 feet are manageable except for a few really wet spots that can be navigated around. Above 3200 feet there is decent powder with a path quickly getting tramped down. Footing was really good for the majority of the trip, just be careful on the out croppings around the summit.
