Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost a GoPro Hero 12 with Mediamod case on the way out between the large blowdown near the Kedron Trail Merge and the incline steps before the Ripley falls merge. Popped off my mount somewhere in that spot. I doubled-back but couldn't spot it. It might not be seen until May or June at this point! Please keep an eye out :(

Comments
Comments: Beautiful falling snow and cold temps the entire day. Very quiet and well maintained trail. Didn't need spikes until after the ladders on the way up. Lower section was soft snow. Middle section was wet. Upper section was packed snow and ice. No need for snowshoes as the rain on monday evening tamped it all down. Was crunchy and forgiving, but not deep. Snow fall picked up on the way down and seemed to be dropping at about a 1/2" an hour. Enough so that rocks and trail that was uncovered on the way up were covered up on the way down. Also made it difficult to find a dropped go pro, unfortunately. Beautiful trail. Steady incline and rocky. But not as difficult as I expected. 5 hours out and back for just under five miles in snowy conditions. Didn't see another soul the entire day.
