I am the adopter for East Rattlesnake Trail and Ridge Trail. This was my annual Fall cleanup hike. I raked out the waterbars, removed a small blowdown on East Rattlesnake Trail, and removed a larger blowdown on Ridge Trail just below the summit of West Rattlesnake. I knew about the larger blowdown thanks to recent trip reports on this site. Please keep the maintenance notes coming. Adopters depend on your intel! |

Trails are in good shape. There was a dusting of snow in the woods up on the ridge, but winter hasn't arrived quite yet. On the other hand, from the ledges on East Rattlesnake, I could see snow covering the Ossipee Range. Winter is not far away. |
