 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Some snow and ice on road but easy to reach trailhead in AWD vehicle. Also seemed possible in 2WD vehicle. More snow is forecast to fall in the next couple days. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Was possible to rock hop the main crossing in both directions, but some of the rocks were a few inches under water. Crossing would be difficult without trekking poles. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Kudos to the trail maintainer with a big handsaw who took care of a few blowdowns. |
