Comments
Comments: Great hike. Sunny sky with a few clouds. Great views of the surrounding summits from the trailhead field and the ledges. A few inches of snow and some slippery roots heading up the gradual 2021 relocation. Hit the summit and wondered why it's back on the 52WAV list without a view, continuing on to the ledges for a warm, sunny lunch. Some wet/icy melt on the ledges, but generally clear. Went down the .2 and explored the mine as well, which was an interesting diversion, especially with a nine-year-old. Intended to look for the trail to Green Hill and head out that way, but must have walked by it, so we just returned to the trailhead on the main trail. A pleasant and satisfying day.
