Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lots of parking at the Tram. It does appear that they may not be plowing the small lot closest to the KRT trailhead. People did drive through the pile of plowed snow to get to that lot, however. Not sure what it will be like later in the season.

Comments
Comments: Glorious day on Cannon!

Left the snowshoes in the car, and that was 100% the right call. Trails are super packed, and too bony for snowshoes. There was not one single spot where I thought to myself “man, this would be better if I had my snowshoes”.

Spikes door-to-door, and trails are firm and fast. Not totally filled in yet, but you can’t really ask for better conditions for a pre-Thanksgiving hike. Let’s hope this a harbinger of the season to come!
